Endless possible setups!

Poorly made bad design

I purchased both a 9in & 12in honeycomb milled (for one reason: to match the gun’s honeycomb milled bull barrel @ .936 thou)
However…. The hand guards require using the supplied barrel nut. Which is the first part of this design being bad: Precision mounting of any optic or laser et. al. where you are relying on a threading to land optimally at zero, and will then require shims to get it even remotely close. The rails threading, as well as the threading on the castle nut is complete garbage, requiring me to drill & re-tap the threads, only to discover the castle nut is so utter garbage, that I am STILL waiting for them to ship the shims required to have the rails close to being straight up&down or square.
Its obvious this product was designed and sold only for aesthetic, and without speaking with an engineer or machinist first.
Additionally, the available end caps for this “rail” is only for light barrels.
