Every Ohhunt product I've bought has been awesome! The reason why I gave 4 instead of 5 stars is product availability, essentially the AR10 products. That's the ONLY reason. Ohhunt, if you are listening it would be both nice for the customer and beneficial sales wise if you offered the appropriate size crow foot wrench for the product ms barrel nut. Offer it as a side option, like the end caps. List the barrel nut size so the customer knows if they don't already have that wrench, or need to buy yours
Thank you for your suggestion!
DOESN'T WORK OUTSIDE. CANT SEE ILLUMINATION OF RED DOT CIRCLE OUTSIDE, EVEN WHEN ON FULL POWER.
The battery may be low on power; please replace the battery and try again.
It take a way to long to get it i well not order her again
I wanted an aluminum 4-rail picatinny front handguard for my AR that would be a simple direct drop in for the stock handguards which were plastic. This front handguard from ohhunt is EXACTLY what I was looking for. Fit is perfect and install was super easy. The small tactical flashlight I purchased was a steal for the price as well. I'm giving ohhunt an A+++++!
Amazing look and fits prefectly.
Great experience from start to delivery very good communication.
Handguard is nice and large, certainly doesn’t feel like it’s rugged enough for like a shtf build, but if you want a handguard that can shroud a suppressor to look cool at the range then this serves its purpose. For context I’m running a scythe stm and a 7 inch barrel. There’s enough clearance to get it on, but longer barrels with large diameter suppressors will 100% have an issue of contacting the handguard.
As the title said, no barrel nut tool was included and since the nut is smooth on the exterior there’s no way to clamp onto it. I had to build a tool to attach it which wasn’t too hard, but with such a proprietary barrel nut this should 100% include a tool.
Scope is full metal construction, bright reticle and clear glass. My only complaint is the eye relief, which is listed as 1.5" on this optic. You can't get a full clear fov without getting your eye too close to the scope, but you can get close enough for a decent image. Mounts well and I appreciate covers for the dials. For the sale price it's awesome! I can't see why it wouldn't hold zero but I will test it out when I head to the range.
The lens fell out in less the 1 box of 50 rounds, didnt have option to return 2 weeks after arrival.
Gotta be good.
Stays in place with the 88, which is known to kick a bit.
So I'm getting another one for the 590...
