AK side mount is milled made out of D16T aluminum alloy with a powder coating. Works on any rifle or shot-gun that has AK style side rail, and forms Picatinny type rail above the rifle receiver cover. For user convenience does not obstruct iron sight view. For ease of use it has an incorporated one lever tightening mechanism. Net Weight 6.2oz

To install:

1. Before installing the bar on the side bar of the receiver, it is necessary to set the lever 3 to the appropriate position.

2. Put the bar on the side bar of the receiver, removing the bar from the butt to the barrel. Turn the lever 3 to the appropriate position, then check the fixation of the bar on the side bar of the receiver.

3. If, after turning the lever 3 into position, the corresponding bar did not lock in or was fixed not firmly enough on the side bar of the receiver, the following steps should be taken:

I emailed them saying if it was a low rail they said yes it is, let me tell you it’s not a low rail it tall and i had to file the edges down in order to fit . Would not recommend this rail for your ak .I should have ordered from somewhere else, 20 bucks down the drain

Well-made and exactly like the real one

This is an excellent piece. It's solid, and is exactly like the original, aside from the markings. I wouldn't hesitate to mount it on a real rifle, even. Only reason it isn't 5 stars is the anodizing is very easy to mar, and it arrived with some scratches on it from the packaging- despite being nicely and well-wrapped.
