Great value for the money. I am no tool guru or gunsmith but I found it incredibly easy to install by following the video on the product page. I dumped 6 mags through my 10.5” aero after installation and could barely hold the handguard it was so hot. Recommend getting a glove for your support hand.

Just building a MK18 cheap clone - this works great, tight, solid and exactly like the other brand

Rail looks great on the gun after some modifications alignment housing so gas tube to align correctly in the receiver. Had to drill the whole out quite a bit. Also the anti rotating tabs was not a tight fit had a lot of slip from left to right. The one part that needs better QC is the rear mounting alignment housing. My rifle is carbine length with A2 front sight gas block. Was a little tricky getting the front sign block on along with the top hand guard on. Other than taking about 1-2hrs fitting and drilling out the gas tube alignment hole it’s does lock up tight. Just make sure to use blue lock tight on your bolts.

Second one i have ordered, and was not dissapointed. Color matched nicely to my FDE upper, (maybe a slight bit lighter, but not much) and fit and finish was supurb! Went on smoothly, and no filing or fitting needed. This is a nice option to get the mk18 look, on a budget, but it doesnt feel like budget, very impressed. Only con i could think of, is no instructions are included, and some of the washers/shims that are included, its not clear where they go. I did not need any of the washers or shims for my build, your mileage may vary. Would be nice to have some install instructions included.

It doesn't fit. Gas tube hole is not align correctly to gas tube pass the upper receiver

The mk18 hand guard from ohhunt was surprisingly good quality machining looks good, finish is smooth, and best of all looks like the other more expensive brand at 1/5 the price

Great product, easy to install, shipping was good ,wish it was faster but it was on the time frame I was told.

If you compare this rail to a comparable length quad from the likes of MI, I'd say the price is fair. The weight is good, the machining is good, but the anodizing is much more fragile, very easy to scratch. The rail went on well, the barrel nut withstood 50ftlb of torque perfectly fine and after a little wiggling and adjusting the rail lined up almost perfectly to the upper receiver. This is an excellent rail for building a CQBR mk18 clone and not giving Marty Daniel's your money, but if you plan on dragging an AR through the dirt in more than a few matches, something more authentic would be best.
