I've built more than a dozen AR platform firearms, and had used a couple different hand guards before I found Ohunt. Since my first purchase, these have been my only choice in my bills. Are there more expensive options? Absolutely! Exponentially more expensive! Are there better options? Maybe, but every single hand guard I have received has exceeded my expectations! These are absolutely the best you can get, and not just for the money! They are all I will use. Thank you for providing such a great product, at the best price I have seen.

Generally I am happy with the 9” handguard I received. But there were a few issues with design and implementation. The thickened area where the nuts and bolts tighten down on the barrel nut has corners that stick out sharply and are very noticeable while handling the rifle. Also the bolts protrude out from the nuts a few threads and are kinda rough and tend to catch on things. The area milled out for the pic rail down in the notches is very rough and unfinished. But so far it works!

Good quality for your dollars. Looks good holds well! The barrel nut seems to be good quality, I trust it on my AR.

Shopping for a build I was amazed that this ohunt brand rail was so inexpensive compared to the “name” ones. I was looking for one which screwed into the barrel nut for a secure fit, had decent fit and finish without being dead heavy and I didn’t need the mid portion to have top attachment points (that is where your hand goes). The ohunt handguard was better than expected, fit and finish is good, the barrel nut is precisely machined and to my amazement they threw in a few m-lok picatinny rail sections of various sizes with fasteners. To be overly picky, in a strong light I can see two 0.5 mm tool marks, but this is for a working rifle not a gun safe princess. Completely satisfied!

Purchased a quad rail and everything worked out great. Purchased this for a back up build and it’s terrible. Handguard is tweaked 1/8 of an inch to the right. The top rail is not level across the entire handgaurd and starts rising towards the barrel end. To think Aim, Davidson, monstrum, 2A and many others relabel these and sell them for three times as much is crazy.
