Nice handguard with a couple issues

First let me say I am a huge fan of ohhunts products, everything I have ordered has been good. My gen 1 version of this handguard is great. I expected this to be better but I’m not sure I wouldn’t go with the gen 1, and here is why. I put this on another one of my ars that has a low profile gas block and it wouldn’t fit, it’s too small. I had to disassemble it and try to reinstall the gas block after the handguard was on and put the screws in while moving the handguard around. This was difficult and kind of frustrating. I also will have to do all of this if I do any maintenance to the gun, like cleaning the gas tube. If it had just been a little bigger or made differently this would not have been an issue. Second, the material the barrel nut is made out of doesn’t feel strong. I’m not sure what it is but it feels very light and not like it will hold up, maybe I’m wrong about this but I’d like it to say what it’s made of in the listing. I like the gen 1 that has a steel barrel nut, I don’t mind a little extra weight. Perhaps I just need to stick to the gen 1.
