great rail for the price

picked this up to complete a junk drawer build but ended up going for a URGI clone.

Replaced my 10” guard with this 15” to cover my 16” barrel and it fit perfectly.

Nice cheap rail

Came with everything you need. Barrel nut and the mounting screws. Even had barrel nut shims. This was a bargain. I will say the finish where you mount the screws to the handguard/barrel nut the finish will get a little messed up under the screws(You'll never see it after they're on there. But the rail feels solid and it looks good. I got the 13.5 and it is exactly 13.5 inches.

I'll be grabbing another one at some point.

A very good product. Very similar to a noveske slim rail. Installs without special tools. Fit and finish is excellent.

Ar handguard.

I purchased this 15 inches handguard for a 20 inch 556/223 heavy barrel and I fits like a charm and the quality and finish are very good.

Solid rails

Good and solid rails, just installed 2 on new builds, but took way too long to get them "timed". If you would have put in 3 shims instead of 2, could have done it much quicker. ( I thought I was going to have to return 1 because it would not time).

AWESOME HANDGUARD

THIS HANDGUARD IS GREAT AND VERY FIRM NO MOVEMENT ITS ATTACHED TO A 50 BEOWULF THERE IS NO MOVEMENT AT ALL WHEN FIRED , IT INSTALLS EASY WITH NO PROBLEMS. I RECOMMEND THIS HANDGUARD.

Exactly what I hoped for !

This was just what I hoped for. Solid hand guard at a very competitive price point. Installed well and seems very serviceable. I now have three.

As good as the expensive ones

Why anyone would pay hundreds of dollars for a simple handguard is inconceivable to me. These handguards seem perfect in every way. Good finish. Solid mount. I know the elitists look down their nose at these handguards, but I don't really care. Let them pay several hundreds of dollars for something that isn't any better. The **** on mounting system works well. I'm not a fan of the clamp on style. It takes a little more effort to install, but once you're finished, you have a much better set up. Most other expensive handguards use the clamp on style, simply because it's easier to align. My only complaint is the shims. I received four shims, but they were all .004" I would suggest Ohhunt include a .001,.002,.003 and .004. My handguard required a single .001". You can get a set of shims at Amazon.

Threw a 13.5 handguard on a 13.7. Handguard is actually 13.5”

Not the strongest finish so try not to scratch it if you’re worried about that. Handguard feels and looks good though. Not too heavy. I like it and the price is great.

Great item

I would highly recommend.
I duck one start as it doesn’t come with specific torque recommendation. Which caused my barrel nut to be scuffed at 40ft pound.

Exactly What I needed for my SBR

This was exactly what I needed to shorten my shroud so that I could put a can on my SBR... Very happy and will buy more.

Holes for gas tube nowhere close to lining up

Holes for gas tube nowhere close to lining up. Had to order a shim kit for it to be usable. I dont know why there is a Two sided threaded barrel nut.

Surpresure ready

Fit great, tucked my surpresure inside it. Tight lock up at the upper receiver.

Hand guard arrived quickly

Hand guard arrived quickly. The hand guard is very light weight the screws are pretty big. You must have an armor wrench to install it the barrel nut. Also, the barrel nut shims will help you align the barrel nut with the gas tube hose. Both are sold on this website. All in all nice hand guard for the price , I would buy again

Solid and Well priced

I used two of these so far, one on my block II build and another on a customers rifle. Both installed great. The flathead screws are a tad soft so use a **** driver that is the same thickness to prevent gouges. I would definitely buy more of these for future projects and would reccomend to others!

I’m very impressed with the OHUNT AR-15 handguard. The fit and finish are excellent, especially for the price. It feels solid and well made, and installation was straightforward with no issues. The handguard has a clean, modern look and provides plenty of room for accessories while keeping the overall setup lightweight and comfortable.

For the money, I think this is a great value. I would definitely consider buying another OHUNT handguard for a future build.

BLOCK 2/RISII is yours…cheaper

I’m a content creator so I have a ton of free **** sent to me from companies, and the RISII handguard was always the best, in terms of lock up and zero of laser. This handguard PERFECTLY performs both jobs. This is more proof DD is ripping us off. I encourage you to get this, and prove me right. This thing rocks. I spent my own money on this specifically to be unbiased. This thing rocks, will be building a CQBr here soon, as my BLOCK 2 is now complete thanks to OhhHunt

Pretty good

This is not an exact clone rail, but but it's pretty close. I bought for a 12.5" build because I wasn't going to pay for a DD rail just to take a hacksaw to it immediately. The vent holes are aligned differently on the ohhunt, meaning you can't make a totally clean cut anywhere without leaving a half circle vent hole. Not a big deal, they didn't build it with people chopping them in mind. DD bolts all fit fine but a DD barrel nut does not. The DD nut is slightly shorter and this rail can't be properly tightened to it. Again, not a big deal, the supplied barrel nut is good quality. The finish is shiny but I don't care because it's getting spray painted, as I imagine everyone else's will be. My only real gripe, and the reason it's 4 stars instead of 5 is that I had to chop my bayonet lug to make the lower rail piece fit and that isn't necessary on a real RIS II. Other than the stuff I mentioned, it is extremely rigid and high quality, would buy again
