This hand gaurd is the most sinister looking hand gaurd by far! The pic in the add doesn't give it justice!!

I must admit I was kind of skeptical at first because I never heard of Ohhunt.
But take my word for a fraction of the price of other handguards out there you can't go wrong either ohhunt.. the quality is 10 out of 10..the look is 10 out of 10..I seen a similar fortis night guard rail for mid $200s.. i definitely will be a returning customer

This thing is sick! It makes my AR look menacing. It's easy to install, however it is a tight fit on an AR with a bull barrel. I had to cut a small amount of it away so that it would fit over my low profile gas block. If I had a thinner Barrel it would have fit much better and not have been so tight. Overall I am very happy with the appearance of the handguard and how easy it was to install.

This rail is solid and looks amazing. The look is more it is very functional and ergonomicly satisfying. This thing is support light. .750 gas block works perfectly with the rail. Did I mention an amazing price! I plan to buy from ohhunt again for sure!

Install was a bit tricky cause im new but easy nonetheless. Kinda was wishing for a 16.5 version cause I love the spikes to be over the barrel but still looks great and feels great

I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this Javelin hand guard again. Great quality, definitely light but strong, and it makes my weapon look really cool while being really functional. caught it on sale under $40 shipped, using it on a suppressed 22lr ( CGS Hydra fits no problem ) blowback build. / no gas system block, building something cool or different looking or range toy this is perfect. the "spikes" arent sharp like razor or knife but you can stave things if pressed hard enough.

has 6 QD slots on the 7", m-loks slots but they are kind recessed as the front and rear bow out, i like it more as an "hand cradle" the pic rail on the front and top rear are standard 1913 pic the rear sides and lower are non slotted weaver style ( i "test" mounted a 1913 style accessory to it with no cross ****, with nut nothing to lock into unless your item has a external tension or QD style tightening system )

the finish is ok, better than the troy industries upper, the finishes a satin-ish matte black close to the spike tactical lowers, areo precision upper receivers not a 1 to 1 match not all blacks are the same black. the troy finish is matte is different color.

not heavy, but not ultra lightweight my aero atlas S 10" weighs less than the ohunt 7" but also 3-5+ times the price

only con is the tightening / alignment barrel nut / handguard mounting holes! its a great lock down function, secure like 8 screws secured its not going anywhere!! but to align the top rail torquing, un-torquing, re-tourqing with the shims is a bxxxh it does come with screws and 2 extra screws, a allen wrench, several shims, barrel nut!

It arrived wrapped in plastic, securely packed in a box, with a smaller plastic bag containing the barrel nut, shims, screws w/blue thread lock ready to go, and Allen wrench, all with a lite oil coating, tucked inside the handguard.
Fit, Finish, and Function all get 5 stars from me.

It clears the Superlative Arms Adjustable n Bleed off gas block, with no issues.
It is nice and beefy, not flimsy.
I mock assembled to check the fit of all the components, but did NOT completely seat the barrel, in order to disassemble easier. It has a nice thermal fit.
So the pictures may show a 3/16" gap between the handguard and the upper receiver.
But I checked the fit and alignment, and it is a perfect blend of the picatinny rails.
My upper receiver is an Aero Precision M4E1 threaded.
I did not have any problems with anything and I am very happy with the purchase.
An Awesome deal that beats the **** out of the, (supposedly made in the USA) 7" Javelin handguard for $180.

I luv this rail.. I bought the 12in and plan on getting a 7in. I had to figure out how to put it on, but once on my gun looks sweet

Very much loving this handrail. Arrival was on time, construction, and durability was better than described. I Enjoy Oh Hunt products and affordability.

I was happy with the item I ordered however, I paid additional money for expedited shipping and still did not receive my item in that timeframe. I requested my money to be refunded that I paid for the expedited shipping and never got a response regarding that only thing I got was an excuse as to why the item was shipped a little later than it was supposed to arrive. I feel if you pay for expedited shipping you should receive your product within that timeframe not get excuses as to why it was delayed and not get a refund for that shipping cost

Based on my experience with the shipping problems and poor customer service received, the weeks of back and fourth, the lack of assistance and the customer service not assisting amicably, I would not recommend purchasing from ohhunt at all...

While scanning for an appropriate handguard, my grandson spotted this one and said that was it!! This Javelin handguard set the look of his PCC.
We haven't had the opportunity to shoot it yet, but that time will come. Until then, this handguard does what it was designed for, TO LOOK GOOD!!!!
