Buy this if you want to strip out the inside of your hand guard. Nut on end of barrel nut slowly rounded over time causing permanent damage to a 250$ hand guard. Cheap product and do not recommend!

for piston rod and it's perfect . Zero mods if I used standard gas system. Longer barrel nut offers great stability for accuracy

I was very pleased with the whole process.

I like the handguard. not the barrel nut. cannot use a standard armor's wrench to tighten- meaning I can't use a torque wrench to tighten to spec. It holds, but it's a pain to rig up a wrench setup/ torque wrench combo to make it work.

I've used these before on some handguards from idiotic companies that either can't or won't supply a barrel nut with their overpriced handguards. Their loss. Ohhunt is a decent company with a competitive edge when it comes to handguards and accessories. These barrel nuts fit just about any AR15 handguard. I think it took only 3-4 days from order to my front door. Thats fast. Good thing I quit buying others and switched to Ohhunt. You folks Rock!!

Took a chance this barrel nut would work for my handguard but the nut was just slightly too small—my mistake, not the company as the nut measured exactly the diameter advertised. I will keep it for when I buy a matching handguard from Ohhunt!

I've no feedback, since this component hasn't been utilized. Perhaps, in the upcoming future usage, then I'll know if the purchase was worthwhile.
