Two of them broke during shooting session. Installed in a WASR 10 7.62x39. They did install easy. Top area of both of them cracked after 10 - 30 rounds shooting. Using stock factory recoil spring.

I installed this into my WASR-10 and then put about 300 rounds down range. After about 200 rounds, I started to get failures to feed and the bolt would often get stuck in the open position and I would the have to manually push the bolt carrier forward to chamber a round. My AK had never done this before. After disassembly I discovered the recoil buffer had failed, deformed, and split open which was causing the bolt carrier to become stuck reward as it cycled. I normally don’t write negative reviews but this product had so many positive reviews that I felt the need to caution others about the poor longevity of this item. The pictures tell the story. This item is too soft and deforms too easily.

I ordered 25 of the AK recoil buffers and Oh Hunt only sent me five (5). I am still owed the 20 outstanding buffers and would like to know when I can expect to receive them. This is disappointing, to say the least. Please respond to my concern. Thank you.

The material of the recoil pad is deforming, lacks flexibility, should be more flexible and way more shock resistant to mechanical forces, after 100-200 shots the recoil pad is crumbled and deformed, you should work on your material.

We purchased the AK recoil buffer, great quality and wonderful service

Installed onto a Norinco MAK90, fits well. Yet to go to the range, but there is no more metal to metal contact when racking the bolt.

Yeah never received my package

I have around 14 AK type guns pistols to RPKs some rare and others common 5.56mm to 7.62x54. Used in a Zasava PAP M85 .223 pistol and worked great! The only thing is that the bolt hold open in the safety would not work. Not a big issue for me.

love these buffers! more durable than any i have used in the past.

Helps reduce carrier to trunion battering. Combined with a plus power recoil spring my AK platform firearms shoot like a dream (the one star reviewer with the WASR needs to install a stronger recoil spring- he's way over-gassed if his buffer is chewed up in only 300 rounds!)
