Hand guard arrived quickly. The hand guard is very light weight the screws are pretty big. You must have an armor wrench to install it the barrel nut. Also, the barrel nut shims will help you align the barrel nut with the gas tube hose. Both are sold on this website. All in all nice hand guard for the price , I would buy again

Not terribly hard to clock the nut but you will need to supply your own shims. Fits beautifully over my suppressor and looks and feels great.

Finding free float handguards with enough inside clearance to deeply tuck a hybrid 46 and not melt stuff is a little challenging. Thankfully googles Gemini was helping source parts for this build and suggested the ohhunt large ID handguard because I never would have found it otherwise. This isn't something places like optics planet stock. As far as quality goes it seems well made for the price point and it's aesthetically pleasing. The finish on mine was top-notch. It is super lightweight for its size. It seems fairly rigid even with the bipod all the way out at the end. The anti-rotation notch fit perfectly onto an aero precision M4E1 upper with no modifications needed. The large cutouts in the handguard allow for easy gas block adjustment on a faxon adjustable gas block. Shipping was fast to Ohio. I have more planned builds in the future and will be using this handguard for each while it's available.

Installed the 13.5 in variant on my 7 in Radical Firearms RF-15 in .300blk with the Deadair Nomad L. I had very minimal issues with installation and fitment was perfect for my specific setup. Highly recommend for a budget build like mine.

Great fit, tight, installed easy. My Surefire RC2 556 fits nicely inside.

Accurate description fits my PSA ARV 9mm PCC and allows space for my can.

Both the handguard and barrel nut have a single paint chip missing. The way they were packaged, I'd assume damage was prior to boxing.
The chip on the handguard looks like a short drop, due to the minor deformation of the aluminum.
I'm not too worried about it. It's a tool and will be beat on as it's used.

They old saying it’s too go to be true, or you get what you pay for, doesn’t apply here. Very pleased with the shipping, the fitment, the price, the look, and the build quality. I have a 1.735” can tucked perfectly. This is the 9” on an 8.5 barrel. Will be ordering the 11 when it’s back in stock.

Hand guard and barrel bolt worked great. I had to slightly modify the lower portion of the hand guard where it mates to my lower. It was too narrow and fowling with my lower.

I really like the build quality of the handguard. I would like to suggest a modification to the barrel nut. There are sections of the side of the barrel nut that do not have holes to allow the gas tube to pass through. So when you tighten the nut, if it is not properly timed, you have to loosen, rotate and re-tighten to line up the holes in order to install gas tube. I hope this makes sense? The red line indicates the gas tube location, the X indicates where a hole would be convenient.

For this price, it’s exactly what I expected. Where the cost is kept down is in the finer details. The inside is lightly painted and shows many places where paint is missing. The outward facing side shows great but can scratch if you are purposely trying to be rough with it. If you are just throwing this in a range bag or case you should be fine and it will holdup. 50 shades of FDE is a real thing and I would say this color of FDE is a bit brighter than other manufacturers but I don’t mind. Again, for the price it’s pretty great.

This lightweight handguard has sufficient clearance to tuck (or bury) a LPM Mach-L (1.74" diameter), has slightly loose anti-rotation tabs that work on billet uppers, has a good finish and deburred edges that won't destroy your hands, and has plenty of M-Lok space for all your accessories.

One star is removed because the relief cut for the lower receiver front hinge was too small for my Aero M4E1, and required filing to fit. See attached pic - top is stock, bottom is filed to fit.

The fitment of the hand guard is perfect on my 338 arc. Feels solid.

It is lightweight but strong...just barely big enough to fit 338 supressor in...

My search for a handguard with an I.D. large enough to accommodate a pistol length "pigtail" gas tube (great for AR pistol builds, improves reliability as it mimics a carbine gas pulse) was near fruitless until I saw this, ideal for my 7.5" 300 blackout build with a suppressor. I am impressed with this handguard! The quality is right up there with handguards costing 3 times as much. Fitment was excellent and the 7" version allows room for the optional end cap and still run the suppressor. The only gripe, and its minor, is the barrel nut is excessively long. It would be fine under normal circumstances, except with the pigtail gas tube I had to cut the barrel nut down .375" to clear the bend in the tube (it wraps around the barrel twice). I'm so impressed, I'm thinking of doing a second pistol build in 5.56, and ordering one of the Javelin guards.

For the record before ordering understand this thing is massive. Like the aero atlas handguard but even wider. With that being said, if you have a can you want to tuck it is a no brainer. It took my 300blk from plain to fantastic. We will see how it holds up to abuse but so far it looks great and feels great in hand.
