The reticle is very crisp, but illumination isn’t bright enough for daytime, which isnt a problem. Also, the reticle illumination looks sort of weird if you arent on max brightness, like brighter around the edges. I mounted it on my gun……. At 6 yards it didnt even hit the paper. (regular printer paper) it was shooting way too low to comfortable use with it zeroed like that. So overall, looks cool, but not worth it because the reticle is way too far from where the barrel is pointed, so far it’s unusable on a BB GUN. Get a monstrum for this price.

Good in general, great for the price!
Glass clarity is very good, 8~9/10. Illumination is bright enough for day without washing out and dim enough for night, 6/10. Field of view is well wider than average which aides in target acquisition, 9.5/10. Reticle is crisp and acceptable but did have some blems on the horseshoe, 6/10. Mount and housing both seem stout and rugged, 6~7/10. Only major drawback is a lack of auto-off/shake awake feature, which would really make this optic shine. Have not live fired yet to see if it holds zero but I don't expect it to be an issue. Will update or post again if zero becomes an issue.
I wouldn’t hesitate to buy this Javelin hand guard again. Great quality, definitely light but strong, and it makes my weapon look really cool while being really functional. Fast delivery, all pieces shipped well, 6 shims, steel barrel nut, everything is above my expectations. I’m very happy with this purchase!
