Handguard is nice and large, certainly doesn’t feel like it’s rugged enough for like a shtf build, but if you want a handguard that can shroud a suppressor to look cool at the range then this serves its purpose. For context I’m running a scythe stm and a 7 inch barrel. There’s enough clearance to get it on, but longer barrels with large diameter suppressors will 100% have an issue of contacting the handguard.

As the title said, no barrel nut tool was included and since the nut is smooth on the exterior there’s no way to clamp onto it. I had to build a tool to attach it which wasn’t too hard, but with such a proprietary barrel nut this should 100% include a tool.

The fitment of the hand guard is perfect on my 338 arc. Feels solid.

Seems to be a nice quality for the price. I do like their version of anti rotation tabs where it fits around the pic rail instead of the receiver. It will allow me to fully tuck suppressor for a sd build. Time will tell for the rail.

This is a great handguard for those builds that are done with a suppressor tucked into the guard. In my case I have a 300BLK build with a 7.5inch barrel and a 11 inch handguard. So with almost 4 inches of suppressor tuck, this is perfect. Some things to know: the barrel nut only has 3 holes for the gas tube in the 12, 3, 6, and 9 o'clock positions around the nut. This allows for maybe a 50% chance that this will align with the upper receiver correctly. Therefore, a barrel nut shim will be needed for proper alignment. This shim is NOT included with this kit, so I'd recommend buying one at your local gun store. Aside from that, everything else went smooth.

I purchased the 7" large diameter to fit over a linear compensator and ultimately a suppressor when I get it. I mostly decided to buy this because it was by far the lowest cost large diameter handguard I found. Glad that I did, seems just as good of quality and the handguard it replaced, the barrel nut can be tightened with my standard armorers wrench.

I've personally recommended this handguard to friends looking for something larger to fit a suppressor but won't want to spend upward of $300 for a handguard.

Had planned to return once the package arrived but to my surprise the hand guard appears very well made, especially for the value. Not that I go around bragging about using a $60 hand guard. Barrel nut requires shims to time gas tube correctly. Super easily installation. Excited to “test” the product to see how long it last and how it performs under different conditions.

My search for a handguard with an I.D. large enough to accommodate a pistol length "pigtail" gas tube (great for AR pistol builds, improves reliability as it mimics a carbine gas pulse) was near fruitless until I saw this, ideal for my 7.5" 300 blackout build with a suppressor. I am impressed with this handguard! The quality is right up there with handguards costing 3 times as much. Fitment was excellent and the 7" version allows room for the optional end cap and still run the suppressor. The only gripe, and its minor, is the barrel nut is excessively long. It would be fine under normal circumstances, except with the pigtail gas tube I had to cut the barrel nut down .375" to clear the bend in the tube (it wraps around the barrel twice). I'm so impressed, I'm thinking of doing a second pistol build in 5.56, and ordering one of the Javelin guards.
