Collection: Flip Up Sights

Flip-up sights are components mounted on the front of a firearm to facilitate basic mechanical aiming. Their primary function is to provide a rapid, reliable backup aiming capability when optical sights are either not in use or have failed. Flip-up sights are ideally suited for Close Quarters Battle (CQB) scenarios and lightweight platforms—such as short-barreled assault rifles and compact submachine guns—where space is at a premium. In confined environments, they can be quickly deployed for immediate aiming without interfering with the operation of optical sights. Furthermore, they conserve space; when not in use, they can be folded down or stowed away to maintain a low profile, thereby preventing snagging on clothing or gear while enhancing both the concealability and safety of the weapon during carry.
