I have AK mastermount and Midwest industries Gen 1 mount, and the ohunt fits better on my Type 81 rifle. And I can still see the iron sights.

Light, decent looks, functional. Having completed a ligjtweight budget upper build for training, there are some issues. The rails on top do not align with receiver. Handguard is slightly lower. The walls of the handguard are slightly thinner as well. I have a mlok light mount from fenix that rattles. Had to shim the mount. Good for what it is, but would not buy one again.
