Without question the best rail deal on the market! Quality price value. The barrel nut with shims let you attach the barrel perfectly and the hand guard just bolts together as it should . They are flat out selling a better product! I’m buying two more.

Everything is great as far as finish, machining quality and great deburr job. Only part lacking for that 5 star is no barrel nut wrench or this would be perfect. Have to order one from another website.

Honestly didn’t know what to expect from this mk18 hand guard… it’s been great so far! Fit is amazing, stays tight, finish is good. It would be hard to tell the difference between this and the DD version. For the price you can’t beat it. Just get one.

So happily surprised with the quality and exact function, I came back and ordered a second MK18 with FSP cutout in Dark Brown. Anodizing in the Black or Dark Brown is perfect. The laser engraving and white lettering is cut exactly and perfectly. If you look closely on the bottom rail, you’ll find the circular cutouts to lighten the weight of the rail, have been made under the forward portion of the lower plate, giving the OHHUNT, in my opinion, a better symmetry than the original (and way more expensive MK18 rails) made by DD. I have a 2 MK18’s, now. One with a Black and the other the Dark Brown MK18 OHHUNT handguard with FSP cutout. The OHHUNT products made building these affordable, perfect looking, replica of the original MK18 used by US Forces in the beginning years of GWOT. Now, I am in the process of running both of my rifles with OHHunt MK18 handguards on an outdoor training course and the handguards hold up perfectly under normal - heavy activity, bumps, and firing. Their assembly was easy. The assembler/user needs to assemble any handguard from any manufacturer using due diligence; I recommend using anti seize grease on the barrel nut, vibra-tight on the screws, and torque to normal values and your MK18 rifle will be good to go. Fair price. Very High Quality. Sorry? No, I’m not sorry. This is a great product.

Very happy with this rail given the price point. I will note that it took a few shims to achieve perfect fitment but the kit includes shims. Added a few drops of Loctite to the fasteners and it is now rock solid. Machining was excellent and the finish looks great as well. I may have to get more Ohhunt rails for my other rifles.

After months of owning this handguard , it’s holding up perfectly. Don’t hesitate. Snag one if you can!

Installed easily, need to make a harder barrel nut, but it did install well with my BCM wrench, needs more quality control, the top rail is slightly lower fit and finish to Mil spec uppers. Overall it feels solid, put 500 rounds down range, still feels soild. For the price no a bad buy.

Arrived within 10 days, easy setup and feels sturdy once screwed in. Only complaint is the barrel nut is a bit soft, after 40 foot/lbs of torque the teeth of the nut began to peel on the side which created friction against the guard upon installation. Took a steel nail file to the nut, and added some elbow grease, within 1 hour it was on fully. Overall it’s a good high quality handguard for the price, and I’m happy with my purchase.
