Even with a lower price, this is very comparable to some of the more expensive ones I own. I started on my Rugar 556 with a bore sight at 25 yds and used the trajectory chart to adjust for 100 yds and it was 1/4 inches off center. The red, green, and no light features is very nice for compensating for shooting light conditions. Once the distance on the mount was set and the eyepiece focus was adjusted it did not vary through the range or zoom settings. I did notice a little more group spread when using the .223 ammo than the 556.
I have 3 of these handguards. Two 13.5s and one 15in. The 13.5s are great for barrels from 13.7 to 16in barrels. The only problem I have had is with the 15in. Once you start tightening the handguard to the barrel nut , the handguard starts to shift upwards. Not really sure why that is but I'll be replacing it with another 13.5in handguard.
The 7" Gen 2 handguard is just what my new AR-9 needed. This is the 7th one I've gotten and it won't be the last. The fit and finish is awesome and it looks FANTASTIC!! I especially like the new barrel nut. No more worrying about clocking it. Just thread it on and give it about 40lbs of torque. If you're looking for a great buy, this is it! OHHUNT is the only handguard I use now. YOU should use them, too. You won't be disappointed!

Without question the best rail deal on the market! Quality price value. The barrel nut with shims let you attach the barrel perfectly and the hand guard just bolts together as it should . They are flat out selling a better product! I’m buying two more.
