If you want to solve the problem on your Ruger SFAR with the gas block getting into contact with the original handguard, this might be the perfect solution.

1. Much more clearance to the gas block due to large diameter
2. Plenty of space for the gas regulator adjustment ****
3. Regulator settings are still very readable
4. More sturdy and stiffer than the original handguard
5. If you order a bit shorter like I did (13in), you might even save weight

Keep in mind you need to buy an AR-15 version of the handguard, the AR-10 won't fit as the SFAR is a small frame rifle, despite the large caliber.

Great hand gaurd

I bought this for a AR nine pistol build, and it worked out great. This is a very sturdy hand guard with a good finish, I would buy again.

Purchased this handguard as it met my needs for a wide inner diameter handguard. It's perfect, the machining is wonderful.

Product description was accurate and everything arrived in order. Excellent quality. Shipping wasnt great but customer service And communication corrected that and product arrived in good condition only later than expected.

Used the handguard to build my Lefty AR build. Easy to install. The overhang tabs helps keep the handguard aligned with the upper. Plenty of m-lock location for attachments. Definitely a great buy and will definitely get another one from ohunt for the next build.

Right price for good equipment. This is the 3rd one I have bought. Now it’s the only one I buy.

Very lightweight. Fit and finish is great. Slick install over the barrel nut. Easy to torque to proper spec. Shims included.
Lined up perfectly with gas tube on the first try, and after re-torquing (which never seems to happen. Haha).
Good price. Good quality. What more can I say? I'd buy it again.

Had a little trouble with the two items being delivered at once. The other Omer one came a week later. Customer service was courteous, helpful and followed up with me by sending shipping information.
