If you are looking to build a mk18 or block 2 clone without breaking the bank I would absolutely recommend these rails, I compared side by side and other than a little color difference and no markings these are spot on! Currently running the 9 inch fsp rail on my duty rifle and it's absolutely durable and can stand up to taking a beating, I also work part time for a gun shop and have had several people reach out to me about getting these rails and all I can say is it's worth every single penny

Very well made. The barrel nut is fine, the key is to have a good wrench. I had zero problems at 60 ft pds of torque. This is my 4th purchase from ohhunt, and very happy with all the hand guards I have used.

I previously bought a 9.6" Mk18 handguard from Ohhunt. I liked it so much that I decided to buy a 12.7" to be used on my Mk12 style designated marksman rifle. These are outstanding handguards. Extremely solid and free floating.

This 12.7" handguard is on a 16" Rock River SPR.

I bought the 9.6" rail to do a fairly inexpensive Mk18 Mod 1 style build with a 10.5" barrel. These handguards are solid and of excellent quality. The barrel nut is excellent quality also.

I emailed customer service with a question and they answered me quickly on several occasions. And they actually provided very solid advice. The issue I thought I had was this... The barrel nut torques down the barrel very well, but it leaves a little play in the bolt up plate. Once you install the handguard to the bolt up plate (and tighten up the hardware) then all of the play is gone. Be sure to watch the video they include in the listing. It would have been helpful if the guy would have mentioned this crucial bit of info.

These handguards provide for an extremely solid free floating setup and they look amazing. These rails are exactly 9.6" long in total length, regardless of what others say. The hardware is very good and looks and feels to be of quality grade. The overall fit and finish is excellent.

I ordered another 12.7" Mk18 rail as I am now building a 16" DMR with a Mk12 look. Still waiting on it to arrive.

My only complaint is the shipping method used. The first part of the shipment is handled by OSM Worldwide and they are very slow to handoff to the USPS.

Overall, this Mk18 handguard is a very good alternative handguard to the original DD handguard.

I got this rail to to a copy of my mk18 in 9mm and the rail works great for that.

These handguards look and feel heavy duty, honestly I’m impressed. I’ve purchased DD imitation handguards from aliexpress before and while they looked nice and almost legit, the barrel nut was just aluminum. Ohhunt handguards look and feel like the real thing and I’ve personally compared the two. Definitely buying more in the future.

Looks pretty good. Solid. Barrel nut could be better but they offer one.
