Ordered this for my personal build. Build quality was great, everything fit together nicely and very few machining burrs like other companies. Installation was a breeze and everything torqued down fine. Only problem I see is the handguard has some play left and right. I can only assume that it's due to the two locking lugs in the barrel nut. No matter how I adjust it there's about 1/32 of movement after torquing. If you use a sight on your receiver this shouldn't matter but if you plan to attach a front sight to the handguard it's going to be cause for concern.

I ordered mine a year ago and some people here said the design has improved/changed lately. The quality is awesome. When I mounted the handguard last week it had a little bit of wobble. However, when I tighten the screws at 9 and 3 o'clock (plus blue loctite), the handguard is rock solid.

The 7inch was out of stock so I bought this one and then chopped it down to 7. used it to build a cs2 m4a4 clone. a little jank because there is a **** hole right at the 33rd picatinny slot but from afar its hardly noticeable

Quality on these has gone up, considerably. I have an original KAC to compare against, and the only real difference is that I think the anodizing on the KAC is more matte, than this. maybe a little more durable. the people whom had issues with the screws, there is now a third one underneath to secure it better. I will still likely jb weld mine into it, the original kac one is welded to the threaded section of the quad rail. if they did that with these, in my book these would be in the exact same use category as those quad rails, and they're a fraction of the price. I hope these aren't being discontinued (the low stock amount worried me) because I'm hoping to be able to buy more in the future. this one is going to be modified and cut down for a 6.5 inch barrel, that I didn't want to modify an actual KAC for. but I'm not going to hesitate using this in the exact same way as the kac. after permanently attaching the threaded portion, there's no more failure points. Fantastic quad rail. not even just for the money. just a fantastic rail.

I was waiting on this rail to come back for a while and I am glad I waited. I knew about the stability issue and it appears to be secure now on 3 of the 4 sides with the top being blocked by the gas tube. The rail is now ridged with only the slightest upward movement. I do not plan on mounting anything more then a bipod, so for me, holding zero is not an issue. What I was pleasantly surprised was the finish. The photos show a glossy anodizing whale what arrived was more life the finish found on the KAC rail. I threw on some KAC rail overs and you hardly notice the diagonal vent holes. Overall I am very happy. I get the "MK12 at home" and I didn't spend more money on the rail than I did the barrel! Cheers!

Received the rail only, there was an issue with the Barrel mounting hardware NOT being included, I contacted Customer service and they took care of the problem and shipped the necessary parts right away.

The rail itself seems to be machined very well, have not installed it due to no mounting hardware as of yet...only time will tell

This hand guard was one of two I purchased from ohunt. I grabbed a mk12 and the mk18. The mk18 is great and good to go. The mk12 handguard is not. The handguard is three peice and the side mounting scres stripped on 20 inch pounds of force. Ot had up and down wobble and was not suitable for any use.

Disappointed that the vent holes on the rail are diagonal ovals instead of circles like the real mk12 rail, the included barrel nut is almost the same as the real kac barrel nut except the rail bolts onto this nut using only 2 allen screws on the sides, resulting in the barrel easily flexing up and and down inside the hand-guard. If they had just threaded the bottom mounting whole on the barrel nut and included a third allen **** for the bottom then i think this rail couldve been usable, but as it stands the rail shifts vertical position with just finger pressure making it unusable.

The hand guard is just to loose .no real good way to modify the two bolts going threw it or modify the handgaurd for tight fit

The rail looks great and is machined very well but the adapter between the barrel nut and the quad rail is not ridged enough. The barrel nut is well made and the quad rail itself is quality but the connection between the two is fragile.

Better quality than expected for the cost. It’s not perfect and could use a little bit of design improvement. There should be more than just 2 screws attaching the rail to the collar. Having the 2 screws directly across from each other with no other screws causes a slight pivot point and needs addressed. I have the knowledge and machines to make the improvements so it will not be an issue for me, but for someone that doesn’t then I would advise the risk is on you. The shipping time was longer than expected and could use some improvement. Since I can make my own improvements easily I would purchase again if needed.

These handguards are styled after the incredibly stout Knights Armament MK12 Mod 1 handguard. They look nice, but the mount is kinda sloppy, it flexes up and down quite a bit. I think this can be fixed by adding two additional screws vertically that are like the horizontal mounting screws that thread into the barrel nut. Side to side, there is little to no play. This handguard is just fine to use if you don't mount a laser aiming device on the handguard, but being styled after the MK12, those were used on some rifles. Just my two cents and I may thread the top and bottom to see if it fixes the movement issue. If you re design this handguard with the added mounting screws, I would be interested in trying it out. Overall, it is IMPOSSIBLE to beat the price and the black anodizing is perfect, not too shiny like some other anodized parts out of CN.

To be honest I was not expecting much at this price point. I am happy to say I was wrong. This product is well worth your time and money.

Great product, great price point. Measure complete build before ordering your quad rail. I ordered off of barrel size before completing my build so I was a little off on length needed.

Great item for the price point, only issue is it didn’t fit my pistol build with 7” barrel with an A2 front sight tower.

The price is the best you can find. Unfortunately it was paired with the wrong end cap and they wouldn't let me return it.
