⚠️Installation Notes:

  1. 1. Remove the barrel from the host weapon upper receiver, and remove old barrel nut assembly.
  2. 2. Hand-tighten the barrel nut onto the upper receiver threads.
  3. 3. Torque Barrel Nut to 30ft. lbs. or greater if necessary for gas tube clearance. Do not exceed 35 ft. lbs.
  4. *(Aluminum barrel nuts are much lighter than steel barrel nuts, but they also have a lower torque capacity. Over-tightening can cause thread damage.)
  5. *This MK12 installation of the handguard requires an Armors wrench or vice block.

Not sure how to install with a pinned gas block

I have a pinned gas block, the rail is one solid part instead of 2 so you cant separate lower and upper rail to be able to mount with a f marked sight post or pre installed gas block. You have to build your rifle from scratch to get this to work. You have to slide the rail on at the same time as the gas block but you can run into the gas block not being aligned properly as a result.

Looks great and way cheaper than the KAC MRE

Bought this to clone a KAC MRE and even though there are differences between them, this is so close to original form I’m ok with that. Quality is good, no sharp edges… well not more that a real KAC rail. Finish looks great and uniform. Really wish they made a 12” MK12 clone rail. I know they sell similar but the holes in the handguard need to be round like this handguard.

Strong handguard, but edges are sharp

Great fit and finish. My only complaint is the pic rail edges are quite sharp and could use a pass in the machining process to take that down a notch.

What's the FSP cutout? I'm figuring for the A-frame front sight... post?? FSP.. Is that what that stands for?? Makes sense I think.. FSP.. But I would think that would just need the top cutout like OhHunt's beautiful, well machined as usual, MK-18 quadrail.. Ohhunt and the Chinese manufacturers I was developing a great business relationship and report with PRIOR to the economic war that banned manufacturers on Alibaba from offering handguards/rails. My first and following 5 or so handrails I purchased via Alibaba.. 2 American (Hogue & Matador Arms) then seen Ohhunt had the "Honeycomb" handrail I have in FDE previously off of Alibaba.. Purchased a black 9" for a 8.5" .300BLK build.. With AeroPrecision M4E1 Threaded receiver set.. 3.5" BufferSystem.. Stunning, perfect "ChopChop".. Got e'ryone wanting one the same or entry-level with Anderson receiver set.. But Ohhunt rails, truly outclass just about every American manufactured, and ohhunt does it for 1/3-1/4 of the cost.. Every feature highlighted on name brand top tier manufacturers, Ohhunt and their fellow Asian manufacturers have on most of all their different lines of handgaurds. Anti-rotation tabs/cuts, super precision cuts, (especially on the Honeycomb handrail,) large, reinforced barrel nut screws/bolts, QD slots (also manufactured with anti-rotation (which is amazing attention to detail) man twisted sling, no longer, (at least on Chinese made handguards) soft well machined edges, for the most part, excellent lightening cuts.. I miss being able to speak directly with manufacturers and give them specs on builds of my own, they could do with no issue.. I sent the original colts/Stoner's specs for the AR lower.. We had to have a short but understanding conversation about them manufacturing such and shipping it, and my company ordering such.. Which I say, "There's no morality clause in capitalism.." Others can't say what we can and can't sell or do to live and provide for our families.. E'rything I do with armoring was 💯% legal in 2019 in NYS.. By the end of 2021, E'rything I was doing as my livelihood and income was then 💯% ILLEGAL.. Scarcity, raises the cost, the more money and value in what my business offers.. More people see it now as a business opportunity.. Hence, our organized crime, and criminal enterprises..
